Business Communities
Forming a community of commerce is a strategy for allowing businesses of all sizes to increase their profitability and maximize customer loyalty. While Internet business communities are helpful and good strategy to large businesses, they are essential for small and medium-size enterprises that have meagre resources to squander on common, non-differentiating activities.

The increased connectivity has changed the organizing metaphor for business from the desktop to the community. With the onset of the Internet the major role of the computer has essentially changed from a computing to a communications device. We believe that within 3 to 5 years, Internet communication network systems will become a way of life and will become one of the preferred communication mediums with advertisers.

As we enter into the new millennium, in the terms of computer usage and networking we are seeing an unprecedented movement away from singularity and towards communities. The Mycomport 'WebND' technology has the potential to become one of the most important drivers of communities of commerce in the new economy.

Although we are establishing our system in Australia first, the international market is our ultimate goal. We have designed our product to suit any international market. One of our international alliances is developing a base of regional portals in Xi'an, central China. Although these portals use the same technology as the local Australian or English language ones they operate with the Chinese character set. The Mycomport WebND technology has been designed to accommodate different languages and character sets eg Chinese, Arabic and Japanese.
