The Bendigo Bank's highly successful initiative for regional Australia, through its innovative community enterprise model, provides an unparalleled opportunity for the rapid
diffusion of the technology solution throughout Australia.

In addition to the network within and between Community Portals there is the compounded advantage of being connected to the larger network of Corporate and Supply Chain Portals. Examples of these enhancements are as follows:

• Governments using the Corporate Portal will have links into all the Community Portal networks to disseminate their information directly to the community members affected.
• Large businesses through their Corporate Portal will have network links to local businesses on the Community Portals, to transact with local businesses and to the communicate with the local market and,
• Each Community Portal will have it's own inbuilt local marketplace and these marketplaces will be able to interact with national and international marketplaces using the Supply Chain Portals.

It would be the prerogative of the integrated community portal network to negotiate commercial arrangements with all levels of government and business.
